HOW IT BEGAN

I have a background as a veterinary assistant in veterinary medicine (ranging from primary care, emergency, oncology to cardiology) and I always knew one day I wanted a Great Dane. My husband and I briefly talked about it and found our first Dane, Pharaoh. Originally we did not have plans to breed, we just wanted a wonderful pet for ourselves. However, we became hooked and soon we added a second and then a third one to our family.

After a lot of research about the breeding process, confirmation, and health testing, we decided to do our part in preserving it, which led to the birth of Frazier Danes LLC.

PHILOSOPHY & MISSION

Our mission is to produce and raise the best, healthiest puppies possible. Our breeding dogs go through extensive genetic testing to ensure we are producing quality pets. We strive for good bone structure and confirmation, friendly and guardian temperaments, and longevity. We are committed to providing the best life for our dogs and their puppies.

PUPPY RAISING AND WHAT TO EXPECT

Our puppies are raised in our home and are started on ENS (early neurological stimulation) at day 3 up until day 16. The ENS has been proven to improve overall stress in dogs, stronger heart beats, better adrenaline when needed and overall better dogs. We also use the Puppy Culture program to socialize and expose our puppies to everyday tasks to help create a more rounded adult dog. The Puppy Culture program is started from the very early stages and can be continued up until 12 weeks of age. Our puppies are exposed to other household dogs, cats, children, a variety of people, and every day living (vacuuming, dishes, laundry, etc).

We deworm puppies at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age. A physical exam and first distemper vaccine is administered by our veterinarian at 8 weeks of age. We do require a puppy contract and offer a 1 year genetic health guarantee. They will be sent home with a Puppy Pack with some goodies as well.

WHY CHOOSE US?

Our dogs are fully health tested as recommended for the breed (OFA Hips/Elbows, OFA Eyes, OFA Heart/Echo, OFA Thyroid, and Embark genetic health testing). We begin basic training and socialization at an early age and educate our puppy owners on continued training/socialization/basic Dane care. We provide lifetime breeder support and require a contract to ensure our puppies are taken care of - which includes a spay/neuter contract and a return contract. We aim to be very involved in their progress and growth, and do our best to place puppies with the best possible families.

"I highly recommend! So thankful I came across Frazier Danes. Brittany did a beautiful job using puppy culture and preparing the pups for their forever homes. Violet Blue was the only merle and I knew she had to be mine. Thank you for this beautiful girl and my Dane dream come true! "
